Here are some photos I took today of the adult bullies outside. The biggest white and fawn colored one is Otis and he is a champion bulldog that is also stud. Him and myrtle the red brindle female with her boobs hanging low is the mother of the new puppies; they belong to my parents. My dogs Fabio, the red brindle male with the red ball and Ginger, my brindle female with the green ring are in the photos too. They all enjoyed being outside so much! Enjoy!

Updated Puppy Picture: 1 Week Old

Here are only some of the updated pics of the puppies. There are more but I only have time to post this many. When we have names for them I will take pictures and label the photos with their names, but we are still deciding. ENJOY!

They sleep on their backs like this totally relaxed.

1 Final Left & Distracted by Bulldogs!

Hello all!!
I am back in Ft. Wayne until Tuesday morning helping out with the puppies some more until I go back to Bloomington Tuesday evening to take my LAST final of my undergraduate college career! Unfortunately, it is a history final so I have been doing a lot, lot, lot of studying for it. Friday I came home in the afternoon after I got done taking my geology final. I am glad to have almost all of my stuff moved back home. All I have to do now is organize it!

The puppies have all grown so big over one week. They are officially 1 week and 2 days old. They should be opening their eyes by the time they are 2 weeks, so that will be exciting. They are making a lot more noises and are much more active than they were when I saw them last. They all are really healthy and have been gaining weight too, so that is WONDERFUL! Almost all of them weigh over 1lb so that is great progress. I will post some pictures of them after I finish writing this post.

Last night (Friday) Jason and I went to Northrop to see the musical Les Miserable, it was SO GREAT!! The actors were very talented for high school students and the leads had awesome voices. It was so refreshing to see a musical that good come from my old high school. I recommend everyone in Ft. Wayne go see it tonight (Sat) because it is the last show and you will love it!

Today I took the bigger dogs outside (mine) Fabio & Ginger and (my parents') Otis & Myrtle to play. They loved the cool breeze and the sunshine. I got some really great photos of them playing and enjoying the spring day. I will try to post those too! I love that it is spring and I will be able to really enjoy it after I am done with school on Tuesday!!

Well, I'm sitting on my mom's computer and I need to study more while the puppies are eating and sleeping. Take care and check back because I'll keep updating pictures and status of the puppies. Have a great weekend!
Love,
Breanna :0)

English Bulldog Puppies on Their Way!!

Myrtle, my parents' english bulldog is scheduled for her c-section Thursday morning at 9am. She is expected to have 8-9 puppies inside her very pregnant belly. She has been trying to get comfortable all day today, but has been kind of restless. She seems ready to have those puppies. I will update you all on the status of the puppies, count, color, sex, and details of the birth on Thursday afternoon/evening when I get some time. I will be helping with care shifts of watching the puppies, helping them feed, and aiding Myrtle. Enjoy your week!
Love,
Breanna :)

Frustration...

So I've been trying to post at least 3 diff
erent times using my firefox browser but it didn't work. Every time I tried to post a new post, it would turn my words into ???????. FRUSTRATING! Finally, I got smart and switched browsers and it works, wierd!

Well, not a whole lot has been happening in my life lately. I have been focused on finishing my last 19 days of school before I move home to Ft. Wayne. I just recently found out my student teaching placement for the fall so I am very excited about that. My dad introduced me to 2 wonderful teachers that are going to let me student teach with them in the fall. I will be at Shambaugh Elementary school in a 3rd grade class for 8 weeks and a special education resource room for 8 weeks. I cannot wait to get in the classroom and interact with my students. I am so ready to begin my teaching career and get paid more than $7 an hour!

Friday, I am headed with Fabio to visit Jason at Wabash College. I believe this will be my last trip to Wabash before Jason graduates May 11th. Wow! 4 years of us being away from each other at college and it is soon going to be at its end. Well, I am psyched about that too!

This coming Wednesday, I am driving home with Fabio to Ft. Wayne to help my mom and dad with the delivery of english bulldog puppies. They need someone to help stay up with the puppies when they are just born so that the mother won't roll on them and that they are safe and healthy. I will post some pictures of the bully pups after they are born. Then, Saturday Fabio and I are driving to Plymouth Indiana for Jason's last fraternity formal. We are staying at a nice resort there, so hopefully the weather will be nice. I guess have a lot more to look forward to than I thought :)

As for the operation get healthy, I have lost a total of 6lbs since March 18th. I am happy about it and have been working out everyday burning 500 calories on cardio equipment. Today I cheated a little bit and had some unhealthy Olive Garden, but I'm off to the gym to burn it off after I finish this post. I started out weighing 195.6lbs and I weighed in this week at 189.2 so I am slowly losing some excess fat. YAY! Tomorrow's a new day and I have to eat way better and exercise again. It really does feel good to know that you are moving and giving your body the activity it needs.

Well, I should be off to the gym before I lose motivation and stay home. I will post more when I get some more time and if something interesting happens:) Enjoy the picture below, it just makes me laugh. Have a great weekend everyone!
